C.A.R.E MOVES FORWARD WITH INVENTORY MATCHING SYSTEM
The IMS Committee was organized to promote the continued development and use of the Inventory Matching System that has been provided by the Merlin group. We are well past BETA testing and many C.A.R.E. member companies have enrolled in and have completed introductory training online. While improvements are still being made and functionalities are being fine tuned, stimulating participation among all C.A.R.E. is our next mission.
It should also be noted that C.A.R.E.’s IMS has been a stimulus for companies who were once C.A.R.E. members to revisit C.A.R.E. Additionally, as mentioned in earlier reports, it proved to be an excellent tool to solicit new members at ARDA.
All attendees at the San Diego conference will be given introductory information on the IMS at registration. In addition two training sessions are scheduled for those who arrive earlier on Saturday. On Sunday there will also be a panel discussion to give everyone a full demonstration of the working system.
Following the conference Merlin will continue to provide two weekly online training sessions. Tuesdays are dedicated as an introduction to the system and Thursdays are designed for continuous review.
